Downsampling with Serverless Systems

Course Description
When you want to save space, downsampling your data (i.e., reducing the granularity of data) can preserve the shape of your data in less space. Discover how serverless compute engines (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions) allow users to run code without managing infrastructure. Downsampling improves data storage and retrieval efficiency and helps maintain historical records of large data without worrying about granularity or size.
What you'll learn
- How serverless compute engines act as a solution for task generation
- Practical application of serverless architecture in a sample application
- The process for creating and deploying serverless functions
Requirements
- Knowledge of InfluxDB
